Within the 12 years of active operation we have become and still are one of the leading ready-mixed concrete manufacturing companies in Latvia.

The export of prefabricated concrete production began in the last few years, mainly to Scandinavia, continues to develop and currently has reached 60% from the total manufactured production at the DZELZBETONS MB production unit.

Referring to the overall economic situation in the country, MB BETONS group carried out a major structural optimization, centrally combining ready-mixed concrete production units in Latvia and establishing a company SIA TRANSPORTBETONS MB.

The company continues to work in the inert material sector, developing recycling of construction waste, sorting, supporting environmentally friendly recycling of construction elements and materials.

MB BETONS group has implemented many significant projects in Latvia, such as, Liepāja Olympic Centre, Liepāja city and region central administration building, Madona sports complex, Riga hydroelectric power station, Riga free port, reconstruction of Ventspils commercial port „Liepāja Metalurgs”, AS „Valmieras stikla šķiedra”, AS „Valmieras piens”, Aquapark „Līvu Akvaparks”, „Swedbank” central building in Riga, as well as many other public buildings, ice halls, sport complexes, shopping centres, bridges, industrial buildings and dwelling houses.

In the first half of 2010 works have finished on such export projects like heat and energy central „Bio Sentralen” in Lillestrom, company’s „Shell” warehouse in Aukra, Ormen Lange, Norway; office buildings „Dockums” in Malmo, Agricultural university’s educational and research centre „Biocentrum Ultuna” in Uppsala, gym „FOLKUNGASKOLAN” in Linkoping, gym „PRASTANGEN SPORTHALL” in Sigtuna, central railway station „Terminalbyggnaden” in Uppsala, Sweden and other.
